When learning to create art with watercolor, the sky and clouds are an important backdrop to a scene.

If you look closely at watercolor landscapes, many times the clouds are no more than colors blending and bleeding with just enough detail for our brains to process that what we are seeing is a sky.

Capturing the essence and simplifying what we see in life or from a photo can be tricky. In this workshop we will learn to capture the colors, shapes and movements of the sky, and doing so in a way that students will find simple and approachable. All materials are included.
